If you take time to read our story which is on the table, you will find in there the account of how our youngest son, Tom, committed suicide at the age of 16 in January 2004. We share our story freely; the only reason for doing so is that by sharing our story, it may encourage others who have either been through similar experiences, or know someone who has. Since that time we have been able to help individuals and groups by sharing our experiences. Soon after Tom died, Jackie began writing everything down as a journal. There were so many events which happened, thoughts and emotions which came to the both of us, and had they not been put down on paper they would have been forgotten. Thirteen years on and the result is two books, both written by Jackie ~ "Losing Tom, Finding Grace" "Even though I walk". International speakers Rob and Marion White wrote the introduction to "Losing Tom, Finding Grace" and they say….. “How can a book written about a story of pain and sadness be such a positive book?
