History Japan Society began its activities in 1989 with the purpose of manufacturing t-shirts with oriental prints for the Japanese community and, over time, gained great relevance to Brazilian culture. It was a difficult start, based entirely on the dedication of the people involved: sales in bazaars and simple locations, without the "glamour" and aesthetics that would define the company a few years later. With a primary focus on Japanese cultural festivals and events, as well as those of Eastern communities, the Japan Society has gradually shaped its path to becoming a recognized brand in the Brazilian market. This idea has been so successful that the Japan Society maintains the same enthusiasm it had at the beginning to spread Japanese culture throughout the country. Concept Japan Society aims to be more than just a fashion brand.
