We Love Music since 1974!
For over fifty years, Bengans has provided good Gothenburgians with records and since 1995 we have also been on the web. Adjacent to our store in Gothenburg is a café where we offer both gigs and film screenings in addition to serving. Nowadays, we also have stores in Stockholm and Linköping. Every day, 1000s of people pass through one of our stores. The head office and E-commerce warehouse are located at Slakthusområdet in Gothenburg (see address here).
In our range you will find records, films, books and merchandise. We love the rediscovered interest in vinyl and offer a large selection both in terms of new releases, reissues and used vinyl records. You can also find import titles and artists' self-distributed records with us. Bengans has a great commitment to Record Store Day when the stores are filled with special titles.
We who work at Bengans are music lovers ourselves and like our customers, we like the contact with artists. We often have live gigs and signings on stage. Over the years, we have been visited by artists such as David Bowie, Belle and Sebastian and R.E.M., as well as most major Swedish artists such as Kent, Anna Ternheim, Thåström, Ulf Lundell and Lars Winnerbäck.
