Life sometimes falls into place, and the establishment of Fluffy Cutters in August 2019 is one of those times when all the stars aligned. I had re-trained as a pet groomer and worked in a grooming parlour on the mainland. In contrast, my partner, a marine surveyor mostly worked around the Solent area and during one of his surveys on the Isle of Wight and I decided to accompany him. Whilst walking around Cowes afterwards, we couldn’t help but notice that there were as many dogs as people walking around, and then we stumbled across, whilst waiting for a RedJet ferry, a disused cycle hire and taxi premises. We both looked at each other with the same thought: “What a great place to start a dog grooming business!” the rest is history.
