The Goodhood Store opened in September 2007 on a backstreet in Hoxton, Shoreditch. Founded as a self-initiated, self-funded project, its goal was to curate some of the finest clothing and objects from around the world, supporting like-minded brands that shared a commitment to independence, exclusivity, and quality. Shortly after, the webstore launched, growing into an industry-leading platform alongside the physical store, both carrying some of the world’s most prestigious lines. An ongoing collaboration with R. Newbold, begun in 2008 and now in its fourth year, has been central to defining the Goodhood aesthetic, producing a seasonal capsule collection that reflects the store’s signature effortless style. In December 2010, the store expanded to two floors, offering dedicated spaces for both men and women. Early in 2011, the Goodhood Workshop opened, combining offices with an exhibition space in partnership with Galeries Goldstein (G.A.G), hosting thought-provoking exhibitions and one-off launches, including the UK debut of Carhartt Heritage. Today, the Goodhood Store remains unique in its brand identity, culture, and level of service, offering men and women a curated selection of the world’s finest goods.
