The artisan potato chip factory in Burgos since 1931
The history of our company began in 1931 in Madrid, more specifically in a small office on the popular Calle de Embajadores (hence its registered trademark "La Estrella de Embajadores". In 1936, war crossed his path, destroying all his dreams.
It was then that Eloy Acero "grandfather" moved to Burgos to start the business again in a small shop on Calle Rey Don Pedro. Everything was going well, the demand was growing and with it the investments made.
They moved to the next street "Alonso de Cartagena", to a larger premises, with better ventilation for the on-site manufacture of these potatoes, and where all the processes of peeling, cutting, frying, packaging and sale are carried out directly and manually.
The son, also called Eloy Acero, took the reins of the business from a very young age, becoming the 2nd generation of this company.
Over the years, this working method became small and it was in 1982 when the manufacture was moved to a warehouse in Alto de la Varga, which is where we are today, in order to store more raw material, produce the product in the best hygienic-sanitary conditions and respect the environment.
