Quorum Libros is not only attractive as a retail establishment, but also because of the large number of events, book signings, new release presentations, and other activities that have taken place there over the years. Similarly, Quorum Libros actively participates in other cultural initiatives in the city, the province, and the rest of the Andalusian Autonomous Community. To this end, it collaborates with both public and private institutions.
As another activity of Quorum Libros, mention must be made of the publishing work that began in 1993 under the name Quorum Editores, with a great impact on cultural life, although currently the production of new titles is paralyzed.
Over the years, it has published more than 200 titles covering diverse literary genres (novels, poetry, short stories, essays), scientific studies, local topics, flamenco, carnivals, and university textbooks, among others. It has enjoyed considerable market acceptance and recognized quality, both for its content (thanks to the undeniable talent of its selected authors) and for the technical specifications of its editions. Emblematic collections of the publishing house include: Marejada narrativa (Narrative Sea), Marejada poesía (Poetry Sea), Marejada teatro (Theater Sea), Marejada negra (Black Sea Sea), Algarabía narrativa (Narrative Seagull), Algarabía pensamiento (Thought Seagull), Algarabía poesía (Poetry Seagull), DePeriodistas (Journalists), DeDoceañista (Doceañista), En humor y compañía (In Humor and Company), and Tirititrá .
