Wil7 is a boutique hotel shaped by the spirit and history of Berlin. Situated on Wilhelmstraße 7 in Berlin-Kreuzberg, our home occupies a classic Gründerzeit building that has witnessed the city’s many transformations. Originally constructed in the late 19th century and restored in 2016, its elegant facade and expansive windows reflect a time when Berlin was rapidly growing and redefining itself. The story of this address goes even further back. Long before the current structure existed, Wilhelmstraße was a hub of industry and community life during Berlin’s early industrialization. In the 18th century, enterprises like cotton weaving and printing shaped the neighborhood, with buildings housing workers, families, and schools. Today, the street carries Berlin’s layered history—from artisan workshops to elegant townhouses—into the present. Our hotel honors this legacy by preserving the building’s original charm while offering a refined, contemporary stay. Our small, international team is united by a love for Berlin and genuine hospitality, allowing us to provide attentive communication, warm interactions, and a sincere focus on every guest’s experience.
