A Giftiser is just like a gift coupon which can be purchased from www.giftiser.com.

Who sells Giftisers?

Thousands of Businesses (Sellers) post their marketing information every week on www.giftiser.com and also make Giftisers available for others to buy.

Who is a Giftiser for?

Visitors (Buyers) on www.giftiser.com can purchase and use Giftisers themselves or can send to others (the Receivers) if they like, as a gift.

How is a Giftiser used?

A Giftiser is a promise by a Business (the Seller), to the Buyer/Receiver, (just like a gift coupon), that if a Giftiser is shown to the Seller by the Buyer/Receiver, the Seller will allow the Buyer/Receiver to make purchases from the Seller's store, equal to the amount of the Giftiser.

If the purchases made are more than the value of the Giftiser, the Buyer pays the extra amount. If the purchases made are less than the value of the Giftiser, the Seller may or may not choose to provide a store credit, or pay the balance, depending on their internal systems.

Is www.giftiser.com selling any products?

No, Sellers can not sell products on www.giftiser.com. It is a Portal where small to medium sized independent retail business owners can showcase their stores, brands, advertise best products, prepare rate lists, publish menus, and acquire feedback from their customers. Sellers can also offer Giftisers of certain values. Customers/ Buyers can purchase these Giftisers and send them to a friend/ relative by providing Receiver's email address or phone number. As soon as a Giftiser is purchased, an email or SMS notification with a unique code is sent to the seller, the buyer and the receiver. The Receiver (beneficiary) can then go to the seller's store, present the message with the unique code that was received from www.giftiser.com and make purchases equal to the value of the Giftiser. Now you can let the receivers do the shopping themselves, instead of having to do the difficult task of choosing a gift for them and managing the shipping or paying delivery charges.

Who are Giftiser Buyers?

Anyone can buy Giftisers. Registration and Login as a Buyer is required. Buyers are visitors who buy Giftisers from www.giftiser.com. Buyers can redeem Giftisers at participating Sellers themselves or send Giftisers to others (receivers) as gifts.

How to Buy Giftisers?

Follow these simple steps to purchase Giftisers:

  1. Browse Sellers: Visit www.giftiser.com and browse through available Sellers and their Giftiser offerings. You can search for store names, cities, countries, categories, brands etc., to narrow your search for what you desire. e.g. type "ihop lake" in the search field and you will see all stores posted by IHOP in cities with Lake in their name.

  2. Select a Giftiser: Click on the checkbox under the Seller logo/ image for the Giftiser value you want to purchase. You will be able to select only if the Seller has posted any Giftisers.

  3. Check Shopping Cart: The shopping cart icon at the top of the page will show the number of Giftisers about to be purchased. Click on the Shopping Cart icon to see your shopping cart.

  4. Register/Login: Create a Buyer account or login if you already have one. After login, click on the shopping cart again.

  5. Verify Amount: Review the total amount for the Giftisers in your cart to ensure it is correct. You may delete or add more Giftisers to your cart. Click on Update icon after editing.

  6. Provide Receiver information: Provide the name and email of the person who will receive the Giftiser as a gift. You may enter your own name too. You may also add a personal message.

  7. Complete Purchase: Click on Checkout button and Complete the purchase.

  8. Receive Confirmation: The Buyer will receive a confirmation email with Giftiser details and a unique code. The Receiver will also receive an email with confirmation and Giftiser details/ codes. The Seller will also receive an email with confirmation and Giftiser details/ codes. The same giftiser code for this purchase will be sent to all so that they are all aligned.

  9. Redeem the Giftiser: The Receiver can redeem the Giftiser at the Seller's store by showing the email with the Giftiser Code.

Who are Receivers?

Receivers are the people who are sent Giftisers by Buyers; they can redeem Giftisers at participating Seller Stores.

Who are Sellers?

Sellers are Businesses/ store owners who publish their marketing information on www.giftiser.com. Sellers will also post Giftisers so that buyers can buy them. When anyone, a Buyer or a Receiver, brings a Giftiser issued by that Seller to the Seller's store, the Seller allows the holder of Giftiser to make purchases from the store.

Sellers with a physical retail presence in the market as a legitimate business can register on Giftiser.com and offer Giftisers so that Buyers can learn about their businesses and purchase Giftisers and email them to Receivers. Sellers are described as follows;

  1. Sellers must represent independent retail stores and shops with a physical location where buyers can walk in and buy products and/ or services. Seller should not be an online business only.
  2. Sellers must be registered as business with the local authority and must have a legal document from the local authority. Giftiser.com may ask for proof of registration.
  3. Seller must have a logo that represents their business.

What Registering a Seller means?

Sellers/ Businesses/ Store owners or their Agents create login credentials for Sellers and provide basic information.

What Publishing a Seller means?

After the Sellers/ Businesses/ Store owners or their Agents have registered, and created login credentials, they can login to the Seller Dashboard using these credentials and provide necessary information for publishing on Giftiser website. The Sellers can only be published if they have provided the following mandatory information about their businesses.

  1. All Categories the business falls in
  2. Manufacturer Brands the Store/ Business carries/ offers
  3. Age Groups the Seller caters to
  4. Gender Groups the Seller caters to
  5. Weekday Working hours, Weekend working hours (if different), Break hours (if any)
  6. The Company Logo (provided during registration)
  7. The Company Catchphrase/ Motto/ Slogan (provided during registration)
  8. City and Country in which store is located (provided during registration)
  9. Exact Store location to arrive with Google maps (provided during registration)
  10. Phone number (provided during registration)
  11. Currency (automatically picked during registration)

How Sellers are published & How to post Giftisers after getting published?

Needless to say that by providing maximum and appropriate information, the Seller ensures that the visitors learn all that is there to know about what the Seller has to offer. Follow these simple steps to advertise on www.giftiser.com and to publish Giftisers.

  1. Search yourself: Visit www.giftiser.com and search for your company name. If found, then click on thumbprint icon found at the bottom right corner, to claim your space. A form will open to be filled and sent to Giftiser Admin for approval. In return you will receive information to access the Seller's Dashboard on www.giftiser.com. If your store information is not found on www.giftiser.com, only then you may go to step 2.

  2. Do not Duplicate: If your company with a Store Address exists on www.giftiser.com, do not create a another entry for the same location. If you want to create another entry for the same company name for/ with another location/ branch, ensure that the company name and the username reflect the different location or Branch. e.g. "John's Bakery - Downtown" and "John's Bakery - Uptown" with usernames "johnsbakerydt" and "johnsbakeryut" respectively. Giftiser Admin has the right to delete entries with duplicated (non-unique) usernames or company names.

    NOTE: Using Google's autocomplete for usernames and passwords offers convenience but presents several potential security and functional issues. While filling registration or login forms, Google autocomplete might pick usernames or passwords form your history. Please ensure to NOT accept your previously saved usernames from other applications.


  3. Register as a Seller: Visit www.giftiser.com and click on the LOGIN/OUT icon at the top right corner. Click on "Seller Login". If you do not have an account, click on "Seller Register".

  4. Fill the Form: Provide all the necessary details, especially the ones marked with an asterisk (*). This information will help the Buyers to decide while choosing your store for buying Giftisers. Ensure that the Company name is accurate as per Commercial Registration. Every branch of your company will have to be registered as a separate entry. While adding branches, please mention the Street name or the Neighbourhood/ Town name of every branch with the Company name. e.g. Holiday Inn - Sultanah Tabuk, OR Holiday Inn - An Nuzha Jeddah. Ensure that your company name and the username are not more than 20 characters, and do not have any spaces or symbols, such a @ or & or # etc.

  5. Verify Account Email: An email will be sent to your primary email address for verification. Click on the activation link to verify your account. If the link does not work, please copy the entire URL into your browser, noting that it may run onto a second line. Ensure to check the SPAM folder.

  6. Login to Seller Dashboard: If you have already registered as a Seller successfully, provide the Seller login username and password on "Seller Login" page, and enter the Seller Dashboard. There are various tabs for Profile, Categories, Brands, Ages, Genders, Hours, Giftisers, Prices, Promotions, Social Media, Earnings, Asks and Reviews which allow you to manage and publish your space of www.giftiser.com.

  7. Publish the Seller: Sellers can not publish unless they have provided or assigned Categories, Brands, Ages, Genders, and Hours.

  8. Seller Profile: Click on Profile tab and make changes as desired. Some critical information is not allowed to be changed such as Company name, Username etc.

  9. Giftiser Payments: Click on Payments button at the bottom of the profile page and fill the form. Only one method of payment can be selected. First select the Payment Plan that suits the Seller and then provide information in only the related field below. Provided unrelated information will delay the payments.

  10. Upload Gallery: Upload images that represent your business. These images will be visible to Buyers and help them understand your offerings better. Ensure that images are uploaded according to the given dimensions and filesizes so that they look nice on the website. When published, check the main page to see how your entry looks after publishing.

  11. Assign Categories: Select all the appropriate categories that best describe Seller products or services. Providing more categories will help visitors understand the nature of business. Seller may contact Giftiser Admin from the form on help page to ask to add more Categories, if needed. Ensure to always select and enter categories keeping in mind that the visitors will use the search field on the main website, and category selection will bring them to Sellers space. Ensure to always select the primary category for the business. e.g. "Restaurant" is a primary category for a business that sells food, and "Seafood" or "Italian Style" will be the secondary categories. By selecting "Seafood" only, many visitors will not be able to come to Sellers's space, as mostly people search for "Restaurant" and not only "Seafood" or only "fastfood" or only "bistro".

  12. Assign Brands: Select all the brands that the Store sells. Seller can choose Self Brand too. The brands displayed on Giftiser are manufacturer brands, product brands, and individual lines (like Nike, Adidas, Toyota, Apple, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior, Boom Shankar and Prada) and NOT service brands or retailer brands or organisational names (like Walmart, Sephora, Credo, Shoppers Drug Mart, Target, Panda, and Lulu). e.g. Sephora is a retail store/ business, who sells hundreds of different product brands. Sephora may not be a product brand itself. Please see https://www.sephora.com/brands-list. At some point Sephora might have started manufacturing and labelling its own products, such a "Sephora Collection". In this case the Seller must add the different brands that Sephora sells, in addition to Self Brand.

  13. Assign Genders: Select the Gender for which the Seller offers products and services.

  14. Assign Ages: Select the Age Group for which the Seller offers products and services.

  15. Assign Hours: Provide the Days and Hours during which the Store stays open. You can mention break timings too.

  16. Review Information: Sellers can publish the store information on www.giftiser.com after assigning Categories, Brands, Ages, Genders, and Hours. Click on the Publish tab and review the information before pressing the Publish/ Update button. Note that Seller has to rePublish every time a change is made to the Store Dashboard.

    At this point Sellers get published. You can check your entry at the main page of the website. If Sellers want to post Giftisers and post more information, the following steps can be followed.


  17. Post Giftisers: It is not mandatory to post Giftisers. To Post Giftisers, a request has to be made to the Giftiser Admin, if the Seller does not see "You are approved to post Giftisers" on top of the form. In such case the Seller will see a link "Request Approval from admin". Click on that link to send a request to Giftiser Admin. Once approved, the Seller can post Giftisers by providing the Giftiser values, quantities and fees.

  18. Prices: It is not mandatory to post Prices. Sellers can post Menus or Price lists if they desire. Save/ Create a Title for the Price list and then start adding items and their prices by clicking on the list icon.

  19. Reservations: Visitors can make reservations from the Seller space on www.giftiser.com. All requests for reservations will show by clicking on the Reservations tab. Sellers can acknowledge by contacting the visitors directly.

  20. Promo: It is not mandatory. By clicking on Promo tab, Sellers can promote their Main Products, Services, Discounted Products, Special offers etc. by filling the forms. A maximum of four products can be posted. Visitors will view them by clicking on the info icon on the Sellers space.

  21. Social: It is not mandatory. By clicking on Social tab, Sellers can provide links to their Social Media Profile pages, such as Facebook and TikTok etc. Sellers can also provide more links to their web presence, and also post information about any noteworthy awards or special mentions. Sellers can also post links to their mobile applications for Android, Apple and Huawei Gallery.

  22. Earnings: By clicking on Earnings tab, the Seller will see details about all the Sold Giftisers.

  23. Asks: By clicking on Asks tab, the Seller will see all the questions asked by visitors.

  24. Reviews: By clicking on Reviews tab, the Seller will see all the reviews posted by visitors and be able to post responses.

  25. Logoff: It is advisable that the Sellers log-off when finished working on the Dashboard. Click on the Login/out icon at the top right corner of the page.

How Sellers promote their Products?

If you have already registered as a Seller, provide the Seller login credentials on "Seller Login" form and go the Seller Dashboard. Click on the Promo tab, and enter all the information required on the form, as follows:

  1. First Information: Provide the Make or Brand of your best product that you want to promote.
  2. Second Information: Provide the Model Number of this product that you want to promote.
  3. Third Information: Provide any other information about this product that you want to promote, or you may leave it blank.
  4. Fourth Information: Provide any other information about this product that you want to promote, or you may leave it blank.
  5. Condition: Choose between New, Not New, Vintage etc.
  6. Gender: Select the Gender for which this product is best suited.
  7. Age: Select the Age Group for which this product is best suited.
  8. Country of Manufacturer: Select the Name of the Country where this product was manufactured.
  9. Year of Manufacturer: Provide the Year in which this product was manufactured.
  10. Colour: Select the Colour of this product.
  11. Currency: Select the Currency in which this product can be sold.
  12. Selling Price: Provide the Selling Price of this product.
  13. Reduced Price: Select the Older Selling Price in which the product was previously sold. This price is preferred to be higher than the New Selling Price to attract the Buyers.
  14. Stock Status: Select if this product is in Stock or will be Custom Manufactured.
  15. Stock Quantity: Provide the quantity in which the stock of this product is available in the store.
  16. Item Location: Select the Country in which this product is available to be purchased as a walk in customer.
  17. Description: Describe your Product in more detail and ensure to provide information which could not be provided above, or you may leave it blank.
  18. Uploads: A maximum of 4 pictures can be uploaded for this product. Please ensure that the size of the picture files is not more than 1.0 MB and PNG file format is preferred. It is also preferred to remove the background. The Microsoft paint application allows you to remove the background and convert a picture file to PNG format.
  19. First Other Product: Provide the Name, Selling Price, Previous Price, Condition of another product that you want to promote.
  20. Second Other Product: Provide the Name, Selling Price, Previous Price, Condition of another product that you want to promote.
  21. Third Other Product: Provide the Name, Selling Price, Previous Price, Condition of another product that you want to promote.
  22. Fourth Other Product: Provide the Name, Selling Price, Previous Price, Condition of another product that you want to promote.
  23. More Pictures: Provide more pictures to show your store, your self, your customers, etc., to promote your business. Please ensure that the size of the file is not more than 1.0 MB and PNG file format is preferred.
  24. Acknowledgement: Confirm that the information provided above is correct, not fraudulent, and is appropriate for all ages. Giftiser.com may remove your posts or pictures which are found inappropriate by Giftiser Administration. Giftiser.com may also remove any posts of pictures which are reported by others as inappropriate.
  25. Save: The information will be saved but not posted on Giftiser.com.
  26. View: You can view the saved information to see how your "Seller's Promotions Page" will be viewed by buyers.
  27. Post: You can post the information on Giftiser.com only after saving the information. Seller's Promotions Page with all the information you saved will open when the buyers click on the info icon on the main page.

Who are Agents?

Any one can be an Agent. Agents are intermediaries that may assist Sellers, Buyers and Admins on the Portal. The original idea was for the Agents to physically meet with the Businesses and help them populate their spaces on www.giftiser.com. Anyone can act as an Agent to facilitate and publish the Sellers after getting access approval from the Giftiser Admin. The Agent ensures with responsibility that the Seller information is correct and appropriately entered to represent the Seller in the best possible way. Please ensure that you act in the best interest of the Sellers/ Businesses that you are entering. You are helping Sellers advertise on Giftiser website and to present them in the best possible way. Please note that any wrong data or information may lead to compliants from Sellers, Business Owners, Buyers or Visitors, even lead to legal action against Giftiser. When Sellers login to the Giftiser Portal, they will have their information ready for them. Agents need to keep in mind that they act in the best interests of the Sellers and the Giftiser Portal. In the same way the information entered by the Agent will help the Visitors in finding a wide range of Sellers in the Market, and to make informed choices from multiple options.

How to Register a Seller as an Agent?

  1. Familiarise with the Portal: Before starting work, familiarise yourself with the way the Seller information is posted on www.giftiser.com. The HELP section provides step by step information also.

  2. Conduct Research: Conduct a web search to find the Sellers you will enter on the website. You can also check Google Maps, Yelp, Yellow Pages, Michelin Guide, Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Trip Advisor, City Business Directories, Foursquare, Eater, Yango, La Liste, The Infatuation, OpenTable, Reddit, Pinterest etc. You may also make a quick list on a piece of paper or in MS excel, so that it is easier to remember and track the outcome of your research. Please ensure that you find a diverse mix of sellers with diverse categories from all over the world. Please do not add businesses which might be considered offensive or may be considered as unfair or illegal operations, or in violation of copyrights, etc. Small to Medium size businesses are preferred, and can be from anywhere in the world. Large Global franchises like McDonalds or Nandos are not preferred Online businesses like Amazon, AliExpress, Hunger Station with no display stores are not preferred.

  3. Register/ Login: Click on the LOGIN/ OUT icon at the top right corner of the main page and login. Click on "Agent ?" to go to Agent login screen. If you have not registered yet, click on "Agent Register?", and fill the form. Verify your email and complete the Registration process. Login to view the Agent Dashboard. The Dashboard will show a summary of all your activities on www.giftiser.com

  4. Update Profile: Click on MY PROFILE tab and provide more information as necessary.

  5. Avoid Duplication: Check and search on Giftiser website to ensure that the Sellers you want to add do not already exist, and you are not duplicating. The Agent portal provides a list of Sellers you have added as an agent, so far, and also provides a complete list of 'ALL SELLERS' added by others, for you to check for avoiding duplication.

  6. Add Sellers: Click on 'MY SELLERS' tab where you will see a list of Sellers that you have registered or published, so far. Click on 'ADD SELLER' to add information about a Seller. Use Title Case or Sentence case. Avoid using ALL CAPS and symbols while entering data in the fields.

  7. Collect Mandatory Information: Ensure to provide mandatory information marked with an *.

  8. Start Entering Seller Data: The most effective way to ensure that all requirements are met, and that you are doing justice to the Seller as an agent, is to open the 'ADD SELLER' form in a new window, and see/ have the HELP window and ADD SELLER window side by side. (Latest MS Windows versions allows SNAP Windows feature). Now while entering data you can read the related section in the HELP section to ensure accuracy and confromance.   9. Provide the Seller Company name: Ensure that the Company name is accurate as per Commercial Registration, or the name posted on seller website or other promotional websites. (e.g. "Okonomiyaki Kiji"). Please confirm not to change, mismatch or confuse one company with other companies. For adding Branches OR Multiple Locations of a Company/ Seller, please check the information provided in the Seller section on how to add branches.

  10. Provide a Username for the Seller: Choose a username. It is mandatory. The username should be selected as a representative of the Company Name. (Okonomiyakikiji1). The username should not be longer than 20 characters. Avoid extra long usernames, and ensure that the username does not have any spaces and symbols, such a @ or & or # etc. Add Number 1 to the end of the username (Okonomiyakikiji1). The number 1 is added because the seller may want to add more users to its own dashboard such as (Okonomiyakikiji2), or (Okonomiyakikiji3) later.

  11. Provide Passwords: The application will automatically generate a password, and retype password, exactly same as the username. If not please Copy paste the username as-is to the password field and retype password field. The passwords generated are and should be exactly same as the username. (Okonomiyakikiji1). This is the most important aspect of this form. Once the form is saved the passwords are encrypted and can not be retrieved. Knowing that the username and password are the same, does not require remembering the password. The Sellers when they choose to, may change their passwords, as they wish.

  12. Provide Email Addresses: Primary email address is mandatory. Secondary email address is not mandatory. The application will automatically generate an email alias, same as the username. If not, please Copy paste the username to email field and add @one-ppm.com. The Primary Email address must use the username with one-ppm domain. (e.g. Okonomiyakikiji1@one-ppm.com). The Secondary email address can be Sellers original email address. Please provide if you know it. The Sellers when they choose to, may change their email addresses, as they wish.

  13. Provide City, Country and Street Address: It is mandatory. While adding the Country and the City ensure that the correct names are being added. If you do not find a country or a city that you want, ask the Giftiser Support team to add them for you. You may choose the nearest city and complete the form, and ask later to change. (e.g. Country = Japan, City = Osaka). The Street Address should be easy to follow and must be exact for GPS location tracking and finding directions. (e.g. 9-20 Kakudacho, Kita-Ku Shin Umeda Shokudogai, Osaka 530-0017, Osaka Prefecture, Japan). Ensure to add the city name and the country name in the street address field. It is not necessary but advisable to enter the name of the company with the address, because this allows the maps software to find the location quickly and exactly. While adding Street addresses and city names, ensure to place commas. Note that a space is required after the comma, not before the comma. (e.g. 9-20 Kakudacho, Kita-Ku Shin Umeda Shokudogai, Osaka 530-0017, Osaka Prefecture, Japan). Alternatively, the Plus Code e.g. PF3X+94 Osaka, Japan, can also be provided.

  14. Provide Website Address: It is mandatory. Add the website, if the business has a website, otherwise use the social links from facebook, instagram, tiktok, GoogleMaps etc. Ensure that the URL is not a million letters and without symbols to avoid overflow. Do not post facebook or insta page, if the seller has a website. Do not add google or tiktok link if the seller has a website. You can also use the shortlink of googlemaps GPS location share such as https://g.co/kgs/QDzHihW, if website does not exist.

  15. Provide Phone Numbers: Primary phone number is mandatory. Secondary phone number is NOT mandatory. Provide the primary phone number of the business, as seen on the business cards, store fronts, websites, google maps, facebook, instagram etc. Provide full phone number with 00 country code & city code. You may add the + sign instead of 00. The users should be able to click the number and dial directly from their phones rather than having to edit the number for country codes before making a call. Use existing norms of calling with phones. It is preferred not to add dashes and brackets. Spaces are preferred. Secondary phone numbers are not mandatory but preferred to be provided, if available.

  16. Provide a Motto / Slogan / Catchphrase: It is mandatory. A slogan is a short, catchy phrase or motto used by businesses, to represent their brand, purpose, or idea, aiming to be memorable and persuade an audience, like Nike's "Just Do It" OR McDonald's "I'm Lovin' It" OR Tim Horton's "Always Fresh". It functions as a memorable summary helping with recognition and recall in advertising.

  17. Provide helpful information: It is NOT mandatory. This information can generally be found in the "About us" Section on seller websites or Social Media platforms.

  18. Provide Standard Timings: It is mandatory. Stores may have different timings for different days of the week. Provide the timings which are most commonly observed by the business store. The Sellers when they choose to, may update their store opening and closing hours, as they wish.

  19. Provide Contact Names: It is NOT mandatory. You can provide the names of key contacts for the business, such as the owner, manager, or customer service representative. This helps buyers know who to reach out to for inquiries or support.

  20. Upload Seller Company Logo: It is mandatory. Upload the logo that represents your business. Only in the odd case where a logo is not available, you can upload picture of the store front. These images will be visible to website visitors and to the giftiser buyers and your logo should be of best quality and orientation. Ensure that you do not distort the shape and proportion of the logo. Avoid unnecessary white/ dead space around the logo. Ensure that images are uploaded according to the given directions, dimensions and filesizes so that they look nice on the website. The current website version requires the logo to be 280px wide and 270-280px high. This provides the best appearance on the website.   21. Save and Check: After you have filled all the required fields, and Saved, Go back to the list of Sellers on your dashboard. Check if the information has been listed. The Status of the Seller shall show as "Registered".

  22. Repeat and Export: Repeat the process to add more Sellers as required. You may "export" the work done using the export button given at top of the table and send the list to whoever you like to show your work to or to archive the list for yourself.

  23. Inform about Mistakes: If you find any mistakes in the information provided by you or by others, please inform Giftiser Admin using the help form on the website. If a Seller entry is not Acceptable, or it turns out to be a duplicate, or the username and password did not match, or for any reason when the entry did not meet the requirements set above, the Giftiser Admin may make the entry status "inactive".

Note: The registration of a Seller is complete at this point.
